One of my best friends from High school, Monika sent me this email this morning. Her 2ND baby boy was due in April 2008 & was born yesterday morning at barely 23 weeks gestational age. Please Please keep her little boy in your thoughts and prayers. It's the holidays. This holiday season is the time of the year we choose to celebrate Christ's birth and how miraculous His birth and life was upon the Earth. Please remember this sweet baby boy as well. I'm sure the Savior is holding him close now and we need much faith for His miracles. With our faith, His Love and Works may give this little boy the strength he needs to live.
"Little Jaiden Sampert was born yesterday morning at Kootenai Medical Center in Idaho. He is barely 23weeks old and weighed 1ib...needless to say, he is fighting for his life every breath he takes, and I am asking to please please please be praying for him! He had to be evacuated by helicopter to a near by hospital in Spokane Washington, to a Neo-natal hospital called Deaconess, where he is receiving the best possible treatment, and where he will probably have to stay a very long time (that would be the great news!). The Drs. aren't too optimistic about him surviving, but we are trying to keep our hopes and faith high...though it is very hard. He's a fighter, and we appreciate all you who have already been praying for us and keeping us in your thoughts. Please continue to do so! Monika"
I got their Christmas card & letter in the mail yesterday. That's the picture of their family. Please Pray for their family and their new little one this Christmas! Thanks much to everyone!

I have a friend who had twins so early that they didn't even weigh a full pound. They are now very healthy, active 8 year olds ! With faith and prayer, anything is possible. We will remember them in our prayers, thanks for letting us know.
I have a friend who had a 23 weeker. and a 29 weeker. With Dakota (the 23 weeker) it has been a ROUGH journey... she is two now and still not where a two year old should be BUT she is here and is here to stay! If she needs someone to talk to here is her journal
